Płyta Earthball Sports Tournament LP zespołu Paintbox była drugim albumem tokijskiego, wydanym w 2000 roku wyłącznie na CD w wytwórni Legendary HG FACT. Godna uwagi jest fakt, że gitarzysta Chelsea, były członek DEATHSIDE, ukończył pisanie piosenek do tych 14 utworów wkrótce po ich debiutanckim albumie Singing Shouting Crying. Jest to jedna z najbardziej agresywnych płyt hardcore’owych Paintbox, ale wciąż prezentująca ich mistrzowskie umiejętności muzyczne, chwytliwe teksty piosenek, intensywny growl wokal wokalisty Mune (ex-SCREAMING HOG) i podkreślenia ekspansywnych wpływów, które później napędzały ich ostatni album Trip Trance & Travelling. Prank wznowił ten album w 2008 roku i wyprzedał się niemal natychmiast, a my jesteśmy dumni, że w końcu możemy wznowić album w limitowanej edycji deluxe, tłoczonej z oryginalnej metalowej wersji, ale ponownie pokrytej i tłoczonej w RTI dla lepszej wierności, z dwiema kolorowymi etykietami i ciężką, składaną kopertą typu gatefold. Zawiera wycinaną naklejkę i wkładkę do pudełka z farbami.

Paintbox’s Earthball Sports Tournament LP was the Tokyo band’s second album, issued in 2000 on CD-only on the Legendary HG FACT label. Remarkable in that guitarist Chelsea, formerly of DEATHSIDE, completed the creative song writing for these 14 tracks shortly after their debut album Singing Shouting Crying. This is one of Paintbox’s most aggressive hardcore records, but still featuring their masterful musicianship, catchy song writing, Vocalist Mune ( ex- SCREAMING HOG) intense growling vocals and underlinings of the expansive influences that would later propel their final album Trip Trance & Travelling. Prank reissued this album in 2008 and it sold out near immediately, and we’re proud to finally reissue the album in a deluxe limited edition, pressed from the original metal work but re-plated and Pressed at RTI for better fidelity, with two color labels and an a heavy weight tip-on Gatefold sleeve. Includes a die cut paintbox sticker and insert.
