Before straight-edge was something you claim. Before hardcore kids knocked cigarettes out of peoples’ mouths for fear second hand smoke would ruin their game. Before all that crap there was Ill Repute. Ill Repute was one of the fastest, loudest, and angriest bands to come out of Southern California during the early 80’s. They weren’t afraid to dismiss drinking and such in their songs in a chemically fueled SoCal scene, all while not sounding pretentious.

From Oxnard, Ill Repute helped lead Nardcore with straight up fucking brutal vocals and incredible speed.
