DRAIN – …Is Your Friend LP

Ich nowy album, „…IS YOUR FRIEND”, oddaje tę nieustającą energię. Z dzikim, aroganckim wokalem Sammy’ego, na tle inspirowanych thrash metalem riffów i potężnych, skocznych rytmów, album jest dźwiękowym ucieleśnieniem fal Pacyfiku, które definiują nadmorskie korzenie zespołu – czasem spokojny, często chaotyczny i zawsze porywający.

Straight up, no one is having more fun than me when we’re up there!” declares DRAIN frontman Sammy Ciaramitaro, his trademark grin ever-present. For anyone who has witnessed the Santa Cruz hardcore juggernauts live, this sentiment is undeniable. DRAIN isn’t just a band; it’s a full-throttle party where chaos reigns supreme and everyone is welcome—dolphin shorts and boogie boards optional but highly encouraged.

Their new Epitaph release, …IS YOUR FRIEND, captures this unrelenting energy. Featuring Sammy’s feral, snotty vocals over thrash-inspired riffs and massive, bouncing rhythms, the album is a sonic embodiment of the Pacific waves that define the band’s coastal roots—sometimes calm, often chaotic, and always compelling.
