“Wagon Burner” is Dead Pioneers’ third album and showcases the band as more powerful and focused than ever. Originally emerging from a spoken-word art project by singer Gregg Deal, the group quickly established itself as a force to be reckoned with, blending punk, political rage, and personal identity. Following the surprise success of their debut, tours with Pearl Jam, Propaghandi, and Pennywise, and the even edgier follow-up “PO$T AMERICAN,” Dead Pioneers are now taking it a step further: “Wagon Burner” sounds harder, more direct, and at the same time more accessible. Driving punk energy meets catchy hooks and a significantly more collaborative approach. Guest appearances by fellow acts like Sleaford Mods, The Interrupters, and Cheap Perfume underscore the collaborative spirit of the record.
