Zespół Incendiary Device (I.D.) narodził się na dynamicznie rozwijającej się nowojorskiej scenie hardcore i punk. Założycielami zespołu są Drew Stone i Tristan D’Graves, doświadczony dokumentalista i filmowiec z NYHC.

Muzyka Incendiary Device jest przesiąknięta wczesnym hardcorem i klasycznym punkiem, a jednocześnie zachowuje ostrość i szorstkość nowojorskich korzeni. Stone i D’Graves, silnie inspirowani Minor Threat, Negative Approach, SSD i wczesnym Black Flag, mają bogatą historię muzyczną – grali i koncertowali razem przez ponad dekadę w kilku nowojorskich zespołach, w tym Antidote i The High & The Mighty. Czteroosobowy skład uzupełniają gitarzysta Will Romeo (Neckscars / Crippled Earn / Enziguri) i perkusista Mike Flaherty (Car Bomb Parade / United Blood NYC), którzy zdobywali doświadczenie grając na wielu popołudniowych koncertach hardcore punkowych. Od momentu przełomu w 2022 roku Incendiary Device szybko odcisnęło swoje piętno na scenie nowojorskiego HC, budując oddaną rzeszę fanów i regularnie grając w wielu prestiżowych miejscach miasta, w tym w Irving Plaza, The Brooklyn Bowl i The Bowery Electric. W 2023 roku ukazał się ich 12-utworowy album o tym samym tytule, który uchwycił energię i furię NYHC dzięki chwytliwemu, autorskiemu podejściu, wyróżniając ich na tle konkurencji. W 2025 roku zespół podpisał kontrakt z wytwórnią Demons Run Amok na swój drugi album, ponownie wyprodukowany przez zespół i Neala „Zuma” Ostberga (nagłośnienie Fryette i Sound City), a zmiksowany przez Dana Korneffa (My Chemical Romance, Lamb of God, The Devil Wears Prada).

Incendiary Device (I.D.) was born from the ever-burgeoning hardcore and punk scene in New York City. Founded by NYHC journeyman, documentarian, and filmmaker Drew Stone and Tristan D’Graves.

Incendiary Device’s music is steeped in early hardcore and classic punk while inescapably maintaining the edge and grit of their New York roots. Heavily influenced by Minor Threat, Negative Approach, SSD and early Black Flag, Stone and D’Graves share a rich musical history having played and toured together for over a decade in several New York-based bands including Antidote and The High & The Mighty. Rounding out the 4-piece are guitarist Will Romeo (Neckscars / Crippled Earn / Enziguri) and drummer Mike Flaherty (Car Bomb Parade / United Blood NYC) who cut their teeth playing many a hardcore punk matinee. Since breaking out in 2022, Incendiary Device has quickly made a sizable mark on the NYHC scene, building a devoted fan base, and consistently playing many of the city’s premier venues including Irving Plaza, The Brooklyn Bowl, and The Bowery Electric. 2023 saw the release of their their 12 track self-titled album that captured the energy and rage of NYHC with hook-laden songwriting sensibility, separating them from their peers. 2025 saw the band sign with Demons Run Amok for their sophomore release produced once again by the band and Neal „Zum“ Ostberg (Fryette and Sound City amplification) and mixed by Dan Korneff (My Chemical Romance, Lamb of God, The Devil Wears Prada).
