They were the finest American band post-Payola scandal/pre-British Invasion. 75% of this material has never seen the light of day before, while most of the rest (with the exception of tracks from the „Hearts So Cold” comp) were only released on now totally rare vinyl records in the ’60s. Taken from pristine master tapes and a handful of unique acetates, the 40 tracks on this disc will please fans of rockabilly, garage, psychedelia, sunshine pop and Americana. Interspersed with old radio patter, commercials, news clippings and more, it flows like a time capsule through the entire decade of the 1960s.
