Debiut 45 „Development Corporation” znalazł się na listach przebojów, ale zespół rozpadł się po „Into The 80s”; Dopiero w 2002 roku niemiecka wytwórnia Last Year’s Youth ponownie wydała ich single co doprowadziło do powstania albumu Here Come The Now, w którym utwory w stylu vintage dzielą przestrzeń z nowymi wersjami starych numerów, co stanowi podejście łączące najlepsze z obu światów. Pozycja obowiązkowa dla wszystkich fanów Now i miłośników inteligentnego brytyjskiego punka!

The first punk band from Peterborough, northwest of Cambridge, the Now spun off from the Faderz, with singer Mike McGuire, guitarist Steve Rools, drummer Joe MacColl and bassist Paul Wicks, later replaced by Faz Farrow. Debut 45 ‘Development Corporation’ charted, but the band split after ‘Into The 80s’; in 2002, German label Last Year’s Youth re-released the 45s, which led to Here Come The Now, where vintage songs share space with the re-formed band’s new takes of earlier work, a best-of-both-worlds approach that puts everything together in one place. A must for all fans of the Now and lovers of intelligent British punk!
