Revanche – Demain LP

Muzycznie Revanche porusza się w obrębie spektrum Oi! i punk rocka, z silnymi powiązaniami z latami 80.: mocna perkusja, energiczne partie basu i ostre gitary stanowią trzon utworów, a francuskojęzyczne teksty oddają charakter i wyraźnie oddają klimat. Materiał łączy surową moc z chwytliwymi refrenami, a sporadyczne rytmiczne niuanse nawiązują do wpływów pub rocka, dodając całości dodatkowego kolorytu.

The LP “Demain” by Revanche powerfully captures the new phase of the Geneva Oi! outfit and is being released on Primator Crew. The eight tracks — including “Plein gaz,” “Impliqué,” and the title track “Demain” — deliver tight, direct arrangements that unfold a dense, unvarnished energy within short runtimes. The production prioritizes an immediate sound and lets the raw vocals come through clearly.
Musically, Revanche moves firmly within the Oi! and punk rock spectrum, with strong ties to the 1980s: forceful drumming, punchy bass lines, and cutting guitars form the backbone of the songs, while the French-language lyrics convey attitude and a clear sense of place. The material combines raw power with catchy choruses, and occasional rhythmic nuances hint at pub rock influences, adding extra color to the overall picture.
This 2025 release documents the band in a new lineup and anchors Revanche in Europe’s contemporary street punk landscape without denying the scene’s roots. For listeners who appreciate classic Oi! structures along with a French-language perspective, “Demain” offers a coherent and consistently delivered addition to the Primator Crew catalog.
