THE BLACK PACIFIC – s/t CD

Debiutancka płyta nowego zespołu Jima Lindberga, do nietak dawna wokalisty Pennywise. Co ciekawe, mimo, że to Lindberg opuścił zespół w którym spędził 20 lat, nowa kapela niewiele odbiega od znanego brzmienia kalifornijskiego skate core'a.

When Pennywise vocalist Jim Lindberg left the band last year after 20 years, nine studio albums, millions of records sold and countless sold-out tours, many people in the music world assumed that would be the last they had heard of Lindberg for a while. Almost immediately after leaving the band, Lindberg – who also wrote much of the music for Pennywise – recruited drummer Alan Vega and teamed up with Far guitarist and producer Shaun Lopez (Deftones, Giant Drag) to flush out a batch of songs that see Lindberg moving in a more sonically varied and experimental direction without abandoning any of the aggression and energy of his previous act. The result is The Black Pacific's debut full-length, a collection of energetic anthems that encompass all of Lindberg's influences and also see his songwriting taken to the next level. Vinyl version includes digital download card.
