The Generators pochodzą z Los Angeles i są jednym z najlepszych zespołów grających punk rocka z lat 70. i hymnów. Przypominają The Angelic Upstarts, Stiff Little Fingers, a czasem The Jam. Widziałem ich na żywo w zeszłym roku na Holidays In The Sun i na żywo też wypadli znakomicie. „State Of The Nation” jest bardziej agresywny niż zeszłoroczny album „Tyranny”, prawdopodobnie bardziej wynika to z ich gry na żywo. Ta płyta jest równie świetna, jak ich poprzednia. Gorąco polecam na wieczór z kilkoma piwami i pogo.

The Generators come out of Los Angeles, and are one of the best bands doing the 77/anthem punk out there. They are reminiscent of The Angelic Upstarts, Stiff Little Fingers, and sometimes The Jam. I saw them live at Holidays In The Sun last year, and they were brilliant live as well. State Of The Nation is more aggressive than last years album Tyranny, it’s probably more how they are live. This record is as great as their last one. Highly recommended for a night out knocking down a few pints, and pogo dancing.
