Założony zimą 2004 roku zespół The Tranzmitors połączył siły, aby wypełnić często pomijaną pustkę na scenie rock’n’rollowej w Vancouver w Kolumbii Brytyjskiej. Powerpopowe połączenie, składające się z byłych i obecnych członków The Smugglers, The New Town Animals i The Parallels, czerpie muzyczne inspiracje z takich zespołów jak The Buzzcocks, The Undertones i The Exploding Hearts, dzieliło scenę z The Clorox Girls, The Spits, The Pointed Sticks i Fucked Up, a także wydali płyty, które zdobyły uznanie krytyków w magazynach Terminal Boredom, Razorcake, Exclaim i Maximum Rock & Roll. Wraz z wydaniem debiutanckiego albumu w Deranged Records (na licencji w Europie wydanej przez legendarną brytyjską wytwórnię STIFF RECORDS (tylko format CD)) The Tranzmitors mają nadzieję, że fani ponownie pokochają pop i będą tańczyć w pierwszych rzędach!

Formed in the winter of 2004, The Tranzmitors came together to fill a much overlooked void in the rock ’n’ roll scene in Vancouver, BC. Containing ex- and current members of The Smugglers, The New Town Animals and The Parallels, the power pop combo take their musical cues from bands like The Buzzcocks, The Undertones and The Exploding Hearts, have shared stages with The Clorox Girls, The Spits, The Pointed Sticks and Fucked Up among others and have released records that have won over the critics at Terminal Boredom, Razorcake, Exclaim and Maximum Rock & Roll magazines. With the release of their debut album on Deranged Records (licensed in Europe to legendary UK label STIFF RECORDS (CD format only)), The Tranzmitors are hoping that fans will embrace pop once again and be dancing in the front row!
