Piąty studyjny album UK Subs, z 1983 roku, nie był dostępny na winylu przez dziewięć lat. Zremasterowany LP ma nową wewnętrzną okładkę ze wszystkimi tekstami i niepublikowanymi zdjęciami zespołu + na podwójnym CD masę bonusów LP live „Gross Out” i demo.
Album stanął na rozdrożu dla UK Subs. Punk przestał być modny, a wczesny skład zespołu się rozpadł, pozostawiając Charliego Harpera, który założył nowy zespół. Zaangażował on wczesnego basistę UK Subs, Steve’a Slacka (który odszedł przed ich pierwszymi nagraniami, zastąpiony przez brata), perkusistę Steve’a Jonesa i gitarzystę Captaina Scarleta.
Poruszając się między punkowym etosem UK Subs a szerszymi stylami tamtej epoki, z wieloma utworami napisanymi wspólnie przez Slacka i Scarlet, teksty Charliego odzwierciedlały ówczesną polityczną paranoję orwellowskiej przyszłości, obok hedonistycznych punkowych opowieści o życiu i postaciach spotkanych na drodze. Album z sukcesem doprowadził zespół do dziesięcioleci światowych tras koncertowych i kontynuacji legendarnej już serii albumów od A do Z.
Chociaż UK Subs zrezygnowali z długich tras koncertowych, od 80. urodzin Charliego w maju nadal regularnie koncertują na festiwalach i krótkich wyjazdach – takich jak poniższe koncerty UK Subs jesienią 2024 roku:

The fifth UK Subs studio album, from 1983, not available on vinyl for nine years. The remastered LP has a new inner bag featuring all the lyrics and unseen band photos – a limited-edition, transparent yellow ochre vinyl with improved original sleeve art.
The album came at a crossroads for the UK Subs. Punk was no longer fashionable, and the early line-ups had split leaving Charlie Harper to form a new band. He enlisted early UK Subs bassist Steve Slack (who’d left before their first recordings, replaced by his brother), drummer Steve Jones and guitarist Captain Scarlet.
Navigating between the UK Subs punk ethos and wider styles of that era, with many songs co-written by Slack and Scarlet, Charlie’s lyrics reflected the current political paranoia of an Orwellian future, alongside hedonistic punk tales of life lived and characters met along the road. The album successfully led the band to embark on decades of world tours and continue the now-legendary A-Z series of albums.
Although the UK Subs have given up lengthy tours, since Charlie’s 80th birthday in May they still gig regularly at festivals and short excursions – such as the following UK Subs gigs in fall 2024:
