G.I. was one of the biggest and most popular bands to have emerged from the D.C. scene of the early ’80s. Playing with the likes of MINOR THREAT, SOA, IRON CROSS, and THE TEEN IDLES to name just a few. In this double CD release, a sequel to their Complete History Volume 1, you get the following LP’s You, Crash, Finale and plenty of miscellaneous, rare, and unreleased live tracks. 51 songs in all as well as a 16 page booklet with liner notes from singer John Stabb, artwork from all the LPs plus great photos from G.I.’s personal vault. Get a few of these… Otherwise the Doc will have to make a house call to examine your brain. It doesn’t get much better than this. „Few bands have made as successful a transition from pure hardcore to a more melodic realm as GOVERNMENT ISSUE”- Al Quint/Suburban Voice
